well, you caould also ask the question "why would they allow a scene that never appeared in the movie?"

if they allowed it, it seems just as resonable that they requested it.

yep. I've had that happen a lot, unfortunately, which resulted in me selling off a lot of figures. It always makes me twitch a bit, when I get tired of something and put it up on ebay to see it go for $2 when I paid $13+ for it. I don't have any of the AvP figures anymore.

That isn't a very good argument really, because not ALL licensers demand a "pose" at all. Of course, it could be possible, but more so, I think that is an excuse toy companies love to use, to cover their ass.

I agree. In this case, it really seems like they took the series 1 figs and tried to see what pose they could get them into.
